Chalice of My Soul

Age Group: Adult
His name, a whisper on my lips,
From the chalice of my soul he sips.
I await his arrival in my world of dreams,
When he’s there, nothing is ever as it seems.
His face, an imprint always present in my memory,
The constellations all show me its destiny.
His laugh, echoes, resonating inside of me,
Always helping my spirit to be true and free.
His voice, tears through the inner thoughts of my mind,
Brimming with love and care, we’re so intertwined.
His touch, warm, light, and so divine,
Sending involuntary shivers down my spine.
His heart, it beats along with mine,
Ne’er have I felt so precious and fine.
His spirit and soul, so full of pride and might,
Ne’er have I seen so majestic and handsome a sight.
His name is always on my lips,
From the chalice of my soul he shall always sip…
