Eternal Bliss

I stand alone in this desolate place,
His presence left a permanent trace.
I could never tell him how I felt,
His gaze always caused me to melt.
In and out my life he strolled,
And when he left I became cold.
Blind to the world, numb to the core,
Crying on the moonlit shore.
My heart washed and soothed,
By the tides softness so smooth.
Dragged down into the abyss,
Finally, eternal bliss.
