The Song of the Siren Moon

Age Group: Adult
I wake from sleep pulled
by an insistent call,
light flooding my room,
music filling my mind.
It is the song of the
siren moon, hanging
in the sky yellow and full
at this harvest tide.
She is calling, calling, calling
me to add my song
to her siren call
felt deep within.
So I stand before her
arms raised naked
in body and spirit,
and add my song to hers.
Then suddenly, I become aware
that all nature is in this song.
From the oceans swell,
to the answering surge inside my soul
We all dance to her tune
whether we realise it or not,
but my dance is a willing one.
Then my devotion is over and
sleep takes me once more.
And as I sleep I dream
of siren songs and moonbeams.

Author's Notes: There is a wonderful full moon tonight this is born out of my love for the Goddess as the moon.
