the burning times

Age Group: Adult
long ago when times were bad,
when people burned at thy hand of god,
hundreds burned in the name of "god" ,
as they were thus tied to the stake,
we will never know what they thought,
what was their last thought,
was it hatefull?,
or was it just pitty,
pitty on the men that thought that the church was right,
years ago christans were peacfull,
and did not even think to burn people,
but then people got into their church,
who wanted power and power alone,
did they think that it might end,
the burning times would it ever end,
would they see sense,
would it reach a point when everyone see's,
that witch hunts over sea's and here,
were evil and the deamonds that thus they thought were burning, were realy in them, in them
Author's Notes: this is a peom to make people think about what happend in england and germany and france years ago.
