Prince Charming

We met upon a starry night
Consumated our love by candlelight
I lay upon a pillow made of love by you
You and me woke up to dew
Through sunlit meadows of bluebells and springtime wells
Pouring oceans of love through the green grasses and sublime passes
We were a fairytale of happiness
Though our vision could not see
What we had between me and thee.
We sailed upon a magic carpet through the summer months
Glided high in a whirlwind of passion
You are the man of my dreams
and my dreams you seem to stay.
As the harsh realiy of life comes dawning on my day.
I wake up to find you not there
Then hear your sorrows
To you nightmares
To me a vivid dream
Yet awoke we did
And you are not beside me anymore
You left
I ache
I cannot replace
But it, but a dream
