Beauty of the night
by Kit Evergreen
Age Group: Teen
She strtches her wings
in the dea of night
a silent beauty
to be held tight
how graceful and pretty
she sleeps in the sky
watching us like a
creature of night
samhain eve
celebrates her birth
but not everyone
knows what she\'s worth
a lonely friend
to be by my side
when i look up
her smile is bright
she is my friend
my foe and my fear
she is the one
i want here
she is
the beauty of the night
i dont see her
as other people might
she is not
to be feared
she is a friend
thats always here
she is the one
that shines bright
and lights my way up
in the night
my beauty of the night
dissapears at noon
my beauty of the night
she is the moon.
