Being spiritualist helped me find

It’s not that I don’t care
Because I really do
I grieved at first
But through spiritualist church, again I found you.
It was only a while after you passed
And I sat there on my own
Not knowing what to expect
The medium must have known.
She looked at me
Through glasses so thick
I prayed to you
It wouldn’t be me she would pick.
But your stubbornness took her over
And I had no clue
But it wasn’t until she started talking
I realized it was all about you.
Everything she told me
It really was no lie
It was all so true about you
When you sent your love, it made me start to cry.
From then I had faith again
I’m now stronger than I’ve ever been
Since then I’ve worked with spirit
And it’s a new world I now have seen.
I don’t grieve no more
But I will forever miss you
I now celebrate the life you had
And the little things we now have between us too.
