Dusk & Dawn

Age Group: Adult
The Night Queen takes over at dusk
And throws her majestic cape over all the world
And shields out the sunlight.
She calls on the stars and places them in the sky.
She's the sandman that we heard about when we were kids.
She who puts the most pleasant dreams in our heads.
The Day Goddess takes over at dawn
And she paints her pastel painting
And covers up the quiet night.
She sings to the birds to wake all the world.
She turns to noon and very bright blue.
She blows the wind into the clouds
Only to find out that the angels are still asleep.
