Sheets (Mazed Part 2)

Pieces reflect eyes of despair.
Eyes that tell of a man’s journey.
That there is hope.
He lost wife,
To his ownself.
His son was taken away by pride,
Of his wife.
Who knew someone so close,
Could be so cold?
She who said ‘I do’,
Meant ‘I can’t”.
She who shared the bed,
She who carried his child.
Left him over a lover,
Based on gender.
The sun has set.
Now darkness reigns.
Love has betrayed him,
Cupid is painted blind once more.
Then a hand reaches out,
The hand of Spanish decent.
It strokes his face,
Whispering words of calm.
Out man falls into bed,
With this Spanish savior.
Who knew he would find love again,
Especially so soon after a fight.
Our man seeps into love for a man.
