Apocalypse

What shall come at worlds end?
The chaos and hate used to mask our souls from light? Hellfire raining down from the skies on to a darkened land of brimstone. Blood pouring down canyons and flooding valleys and drowning all in its wake. The souls screaming out for their release but response from the fog shall be heard from across the doom shattered land it shall rage out “Cry, havoc and let slip the dogs of war!” They shall then come in a great multitude, and all the souls from living will be strewn across the plains and will burn.
The hope and love used to block our hearts from truth? With this be all of our fates or will the supposed “righteous” be lifted out of this necropolis into some wonderful peace filled haven. Glorious pearl gateways will open the hearth of every home. Gold will adorn the roadways. And silver crowns will sit upon the heads of all. One never grows tired and hunger and thirst linger no more in the mind. Injuries and diseases never plague our souls. And age but an illusion not felt in this plain.
The knowledge in order used to cloak our minds from deception? None of this will happen. We will die. Drop at the spot. Our existence extinguished as if it had never been. No hell like torture nor heavenly grace. Deletion, removal, extinction. No life after death. Not even a memory or thought. No light. No dark. Nothing. Complete and utter oblivion.
What shall come with these thoughts..... chaos... hope... knowledge..... but of the end results we do not know. Though it is said “Shall from the ashes a Phoenix arise”.
