Wispered Dreams

Age Group: Adult
Dreams whispered
Carried on midnight's wings
Floating up from the twilight realms
Wisdom forged in ancient hopes
Lost in the fog of time
Remembered in daylight's pain.
The eternal struggle not to forget
Rushing forward
Birth of the soul
Painful, bloody, necessary
We bleed onto paper
Hoping to cauterize humanities wounded soul
Wrangling with fear
Struggling to comprehend.
