Daddies, Know your shapes!!!

T'was yuletide time,
The sun above not extremely bright,
A yellow tunic top,
In the back has ties,
Nice fitting,
Pendant at the center of the breast,
Pentacle glowing,
In happiness,
Clinging to my neck,
On a yellow ribbon,
A choker too,
In skinny jeans,
The sun was my inspiration,
For the color of the day.
It felt like nirvana,
The complete happiness,
When suddenly I'm thrown into laughter,
* "Natalie, nothing says Christmas like a pentagon."
Says my father,
"Dad, " I reply, "It's a Pentacle! A pentagon is a geometric shape!"
"Well a pentacle is a shape too, " he offered,
But I couldn't help but laugh,
I wish you knew,
And laughed with me too,
Sharing the oddness of it all.
Daddy's everywhere,
Please!
Know your shapes ,
Don't allow the embarrasment to come,
If you wish to try,
And make a comment,
About the pentacle,
Or Wicca in general,
Know your shapes!
Do not make,
The same mistake,
My father didn't know the difference,
Between the two shapes!
And thinks the Pentacle is a Pentagon.
Author's Notes: *my name changed for protection
On Yule, I had my pentacle necklace on a bright yellow ribbon to match my yellow shirt, when he said *Natalie, nothing says Christmas like a Pentagon! :) " it was about a few days before christmas. I highly suggest you know your shapes if you are to refer to a religious symbol. :)
