Somewhere else

Scented sense,
Leaves room for blends,
That block reason to make amends,
Spending not the time,
On withered vines,
Weaving within the true lifelines,
From bush to root,
Coal to soot,
Something uncurls to live,
While something expectantly dies,
Stroll through the garden and park,
Of rhymes,
You'll pass the tree of eternal serenity,
How could there be such a thing?
The feeling is not permanent,
It's twigs and bark are though,
Run your hand over it,
As the breeze ruffles your hair,
Blows past you, as you fare,
Fine, the crunch of leaves leave,
Underfoot, as you reach the stream-
And brook,
Pass on by,
Enjoy the scene,
Escape is what you wish it be.
Author's Notes: For a litteral interpretation, this is just a very nice and relaxing time. But it may also be read into more deeply. Interpret as you please, read and think of it in the way to fit your needs. I hate finding poems that are so strict to the poet's thoughts that they don't give it freedom enough to be interpreted differently. I Like to give that freedom to my readers and give my poems many meanings and covers as to how they appear.
