A God's speech

Age Group: Teen
Upon the gray clouds of
Earth-shaken forgetfulness,
I contmplate the acts of
man.
Acts cleverly hidden behind masks
of
false promises crafted out of
smooth velvet.
Such is the ignorance of
man:
They look beyond the mask
and see a person whom is not really
there...
Lying, stealing, murder, spewing words
of hate
meant to reach the ears of
those most undeserving....
Those are the follies of
man.
And why do they commit
these
vicious acts of hate?
The answer is simple;
They long to accomplish something,
anything.
To try, but alas in
vain,
to hide their own imperfections.
Author's Notes: When I originally wrote this I was going through a very tough time in my life... but I was inspired by it all. The idea just popped into my head night and the words flowed through my pen like water. I hoped you enjoyed it!
P.S: I know the structure is all weird but that's the way it came to me... Oh! And I'd like to say "I'm sorry" for any spelling mistakes. I am a really bad speller! :D
