Plea to the Goddess

Age Group: Adult
Great Mother, Lead Me.
Take this small soul and help me grow.
Teach me your ways with the patience of mountains.
Breathe into me new life.
Wash away my fears in your ocean.
Cloak me in your emerald forests.
Help me to see with your eyes.
Return me to the beginning, so I can appreciate the present,
and strive toward the future.
Remind me to treat myself and others with kindness.
Shelter me when all others have departed.
When my time is over welcome me home with open arms.
Return my soul to the mother earth so I may rest before the next journey.
So mote it be.
Author's Notes: We all need to be reminded sometimes that we make mistakes, but have the chance to grow from them.
