Border to Border
by silver moon
Age Group: Teen
From first breath I was born a water child,
The border from water to air I crossed,
Not old enough to cry,
Not old enough to drown;
From first word to whistle,
From bottle to cup,
Crib to bed,
To dreams I can remember,
Nightmares so real I wake-up to cry;
From first dad,
The true one,
Then second and third,
I’ve all but lost my mother;
so much sh*t, i cant even cry;
From first day at a new school,
No friends to even speak of,
Too new now to cry;
From first real smile,
To never ending sickness that leaves me weak in body and soul,
Much too tired now to cry;
From first border,
Till the day I die,
And every tear that has come from my eyes,
I can never forget my past and blood,
And all the losses that I loved,
But now I let the past be past,
Too happy now to cry.

Author's Notes: i wrote this for school and read it out loud
many cryed and remembered their own pasts
the good times,
and the bad.
i hope to open others eyes with words
