Blood Root

Blood Root stops family troubles and aids sexual pleasure.
Place in the Home: Tie a red bag filled with Blood Root chips and Rosemary over the lintel, and all who pass under it will respect your marriage.
Protecting the Marriage from Trouble: Blood Root can be burned on charcoal to bring about good relations with in-laws. Sewn into the pillows, it provides protection if someone is trying to take your husband or wife. Carried in a red mojo bage with Blueing and Dragon's Blood, it stops evil.
Enhancing Sex in a Marriage: Not all pieces of Blood Root are the same color. Those that are pinkish are called "Queens" or "She roots" and those that are dark red or brown are called "Kings" or "He roots". A marital sex charm can be made from one King Coon Root chip and one Queen Coon Root chip, dressed with Love Me Oil, wrapped in red flannel, and sewn into the mattress to keep things happy between "He" and "She".
A Sexual Tonic: Soak one "He" Coon Root chip, one "She" Coon Root chip, and a half-handful of Wintergreen leaves in a bottle of Whiskey, and drink a teaspoon once a day to deep your sexual vigour.

Medical Uses: Blood Root is an emetic, expectorant, and emmanagogue.
