I am one of the lucky, the very few
A kiss in the wind and it all came true
It was my reality it was my now
This was everything but I wondered how
With Evergreen Pines that touched the sky
And lazy days that sailed on by
With windmills lined in grassy fields
For once in my life no need for shields
With snow covered mountain top peeks
This was to be what I have long seeked
With rivers and brooks that flowed to the sea
A tiny valley free to be me
With a window above the kitchen sink
Even indoors I dared not blink
With a kitchen witch who watched over the spice
Room to breathe and I never thought twice
Not at all far from my dreams
Only yesterday so it seems
A dream come true without a price
I have seen my hearts paradise
A place to be free, explore and roam
A place for me and I call it my home.
