My Bride, My love,
I am here, call to me,
In your hour of need,
I will be your rock,
Our steadfast love will endure,
This bump in our path!
We will survive, and become stronger,
Our love is pure and true,
I will never leave you,
Please know that I love you at this moment,
and will be here for you throughout this bump in our path,
It is only a moment of time in the many moments of
our life together,
We will weather this storm and become a stronger couple
I love you with my whole being,
this will not change,
Please know that I am here for you,
You can tell me anything, you can cry,
you can scream, you can do what needs to be done
So that we will survive this bump in our path.
You will survive, my love,
I will survive along with you,
We will not let this bump, stop our journey,
Towards the blissful life we have chosen.
I am here for you, my bride, my love
Lean on me and let me be your rock.
Author's Notes: I write this in the third person, I have just gotten news that a dear friend's new bride found out that she has breast cancer, a few days before they were to be married. They are married now, and fighting their battle of cancer. You are in my thoughts, prayers and reiki circle, I am here, lean on me, let me be your rock.......................
