A year has passed
And I am aghast!
It took me exactly a year to be
completely free of thee.
It is with non regrets,
that I shall forget
what you meant to me.
I am better off free:
Free of your pain,
Free of your name.
Free of the strings that bind
Free to not be blind
Free to find another love this time
that will be only mine.
Free to travel through the moonbeam,
Free to flow down any stream,
Free to climb as high as I want,
Free to make a big jaunt.
Free to speak my mind
Free to always be kind,
Free to love the god and goddess,
Free to express,
the love and light
that shines so bright!
Author's Notes: Yes freedom, to be free to express and live what is inside of you is an amazing thing to possess.
