Looking To Feel

"Looking To Feel"

When you walk on the earths carpet,
You must always feel the vibrations;
The sensitivity to the earth's voice
is only heard as a whisper.
You must eliminate all the other sounds
around you and concentrate;
You will hear the voices,
You will feel the pain, the loneliness, the desperation
of those souls, that came before.
You will feel the earth's healing energy
fill you up from your toes up to your head.
It will be awe-inspiring and the feeling of
being suspended in mid air,
will fill your senses!
You will want to be transcended into mid air;
to feel the powerful force of these vibrations
from Mother Earth:
I walk along this path everyday,
listening and trying,
to feel those vibrations.
Today as I was walking,
I was stopped dead in my tracks,
A tree limb had fallen.
It inhibited the walk along my daily path.
At that moment I realized just how alive
my connection to Mother Earth is!
I felt compassion for that broken limb,
as if It were my own that was ripped off.
Due to the heavy winds,
this tree limb had cracked off!
It had blown across my path;
only to warn me of how fragile life can be.
So the next time you are walking,
on your usual path to where ever you go,
Stop for a moment and thank Mother Earth,
For giving us such a beautiful world to live in.
Author's Notes: That tree limb, it really hurt to see it so ripped apart.
The winds can be very forceful here in Connecticut.
