Pain, Is Raining Down On Me

"Pain, Is Raining Down On Me"
by Amber Moonstone 5/17/06
The rain was relentless,
The pain was senseless;
In an instant the rain stopped falling,
and the pain was now calling.
Rain can be so dreary and cold,
Pain can be so harsh and bold.
The rain has stopped falling,
The pain is still calling.
How can the rain be so strong?
And this pain to belong?
I can sense a feeling of refreshment,
but the pain causes so much resentment.
I thought the sunshine would fix it all,
but it has illuminated the pain's call.
So now, the sun is out and warming my soul,
Why is the pain still below?
is the rain,
that was filling my soul,
now the sun shall burn that pain,
so that none will remain!
Author's Notes: Thank goodness the rain has stopped. I don't know about any of you, but I crave the sunshine and could not go another day without it's warmth and love.
Peace, Love, and Sun light,
