Love And Devotion, Just Like The Ocean

by Amber Moonstone

Age Group: Adult

"Love and Devotion, Just Like The Ocean"

By Amber Moonstone 6/10/06

You walk along the pebbled shore
hand in hand ever more.

You look into each other's eyes,
never showing love's disquise.

So many years of love and devotion
Just like the waves of the ocean.

It is amazing to see your love
and your hands fitting like a glove.

They are clasping as you stroll,
to reach your magical goal.

That goal of love and happiness,
Something an onlooker cannot miss.

I long to be in your shoes,
watching all your moves.

You are devoted to each other,
just like a child with its mother.

How did you both arrive at this place,
it is written all over your face.

You must let out your secret,
or shall you meerly keep it.

Keep it deep inside your hearts
seeing all those parts

Of your love and your peace
to be there till you decease.

So you amazing lovers
all that discovers,

in this moment of your life
strolling along like man and wife,

can you show me your secret,
and I shall forever keep it.

Author's Notes: I was at the beach yesterday, meditating, there were only three other people there, one was a woman feeding the pigeons (crazy lady !) and the other was this old couple so beautiful to watch strolling down the shore hand in hand so obviously in love. It is a miracle to behold such love and devotion; brought tears to my eyes.

Here's to you romantic couples, longevity and happiness to you all!!!

Peace, light, and longing love,
AmberMoonstone
