The Summer Solstice Sun, Summoned Me Today!

by Amber Moonstone
 Age Group: Adult

The Sun enters watery Cancer today, marking the Summer Solstice at 8:25 am EDT. Like Crabs, we seem to gravitate toward the water's edge (beaches) during this time of year. The summer solstice is the day of the year with the longest daylight period and hence the shortest night.
"The Summer Solstice Sun, Summoned Me Today!"
by Amber Moonstone 6/21/06
At precisely 8:25 I arrived at the beach, being very strongly guided to reach The water and sand almost like a command.
I was drawn to the ocean today, and urged to enjoy and play, in the rejuvenating waters of the sea it was as if the sun was calling out to me.
I am a creature of the earth, always knowing my worth, always going toward that guided call to be there ready to hear it all.
I didn't remember when I awoke, and the illumination was no joke. I felt the urge and went without a thought, to fullfill this need that was caught
Inside my soul to be filled with reckless abandon willed I journeyed to the shore that I most adore.
It was the shore of my childhood, knowing that I would find the warmth of this solstice sun, and carry it with me as I run,
down the sandy beach of my fondest light knowing that, what I was doing was so right. In coming to this sacred place I could see my clarity pace,
Ever so clearly under this sun, to know that my journey has just begun. I shall savor this longest day of the year, and not allow myself to shed a tear,
For on this lovely summer solstice day, I am in the need to pray, and to ask the universe for a clue, as to what is due?
This evening is a Midsummer Night, I shall enter it without fright, longing for the universe to respond like a little majik wand.
Illuminating my mind to see what I truly need to be; to myself, for myself in order to have my health.
Author's Notes: Oh the beautiful summer solstice sun, I love your fire and your passion, now hear me sun, I shall heed your message.
To a wonderful long summer day, and A romantic Mid Summer Eve........
Peace, love, and Summer Solstice Sunlight, Amber Moonstone
