"Death Has Spoken To Me!"

"I am floating as if I am gone from this life.
I woke from a dream this morning,
and felt as if I visited my death."
It was quite eerie
and it made me tearie.
I could not abolish
this deathly swish.
It clung to me as if to say
"You need to go out and play."
"Play among the earth and its creatures
hold fun in your features."
"You are too busy and sad,
go out and make yourself glad."
Glad for the gift of life and peace
always trying to cease
those thoughts of saddness and grief
and find happiness and joy for relief.
It will take time;
for me to find,
That inner peace that I will need
in order to ultimately feed
that fire of light deep inside
that will restore my carefree stride!
Author's Notes: The dream was so real, I felt death, and when I woke up, I was drawn to writing this poem. Don't know how real or surreal this dream was, but I am very aware of life today. Off to the beach, to commune with nature at her finest. Have a blessed day, and stop to smell the roses, now and again!
