"This Sea Of Glass"
by Amber Moonstone 8/31/06
Looking through this sea of glass
there is a reflection of a lass,
A lovely lass of old,
and a story to be told.
She came upon a cottage green,
with all her life to be seen,
by the little man inside;
knowing that she cannot hide,
her true feelings of remorse
he knows all, of course.
He looks deeply into her eyes
and her feelings she cannot disguise.
She was once a happy girl,
until the wind gave her a twirl.
It blew her mind way out of whack
and now she is finally coming back.
It's been a very long time thus far,
always guided by her twinkling star.
The light that shines deep within
to cleanse the dark and deadly sin,
will sparkle once more,
as she walks through that door.
The little man touches her head,
to awaken the feeling that is dead.
His majic works on the spot,
the pain she has almost forgot.
Living with pain has been a chore
now this man can make her soar.
He loves her with all his heart
never wanting them to part,
He tells her to look into the glass,
and knowing she will see this lass.
She looks with eyes of wonder and glee,
knowing that she will never flee;
This majical place of love and light
never again will she have to fight,
the pain that raged deep inside
for now its only memories that have died.
The little man, is rejoicing,
and definitely voicing,
His happiness and love for this lass,
now she can finally pass,
the point of no return,
a place that she will surely, earn.
