"Life's Transformations"

Fall is a special time of the year,
a time that one should clear
the mind and soul, for winter that is near.
The leaves are turning,
a fire is burning.
My love is ever yearning.
Somewhere there is a lark
that shall sing and spark
a chord of lightness that will mark,
the beginning of these leaves that are dying,
to turn and fall without crying.
somehow accepting all this while trying;
to beautify the earth with a brilliant hue,
that always give us a clue,
to this transformation that is due.
As the leaves turn shades of brown and red,
they give us beautiful visions in our head.
Visions that shall go with us to our bed;
To dream of life's transformations!
Author's Notes: I was inspired by the beautiful hues as the leaves are changing here in Connecticut. My son and his beautiful new bride, were wed yesterday at a country club and the view was magnificent!
