"Honesty and Flying Free"

Shining in the darkest night
Always reaching for that light
To ease this strife
that is in my life.
I will walk in that light
to keep peace in sight,
to always listen to my soul
never allowing darkness to take its toll.
When I falter on my way
please hear what I pray
that my life will be peaceful once more
and keep the darkness from my door.
My words shall be heard afar
and twinkle like a shining star
so that all shall see my light
on this wonderous starry night.
This light of mine shall shine so bright
and send these beams to ease your flight
of rebirth and honesty
where you will finally be free.
Author's Notes: This poem was written for a very special friend (Connie) My your light shine and ease your way towards your flight of honesty and freedom...Bless you, sweet one..
