*In This Heart, Beats a Steady Drum!*

Deep within these walls of stone
lies a soft, beating heart;
beating to a rythum of it's own,
never to be torn apart.
The heart holds many a memory;
some good, some bad
it feels much clarity
while not feeling sad.
Beating like a pagan drum
steady, loud, and bold,
you can hear it hum,
while the beats unfold.
Thump, thump, thump,
cherishing every single beat
Pump, Pump, Pump
You can feel the heat.
Building like a tended fire
beating with a pagan sound
only to deeply inspire
on this sacred ground.
The heart can feel
what the mind really craves;
keeping all that is real,
and harboring all that it saves.
Home is where the heart is,
Heart is where the home is,
Is the heart where the home is?
Only you can answer this question!
