"True Test Of Character"

A true test of character comes through,
when you need a tender hand to comfort you.
the time has come to finally see
what they all have done to thee.
Digging deep inside your soul,
knowing how this will take it's toll,
Only you can see the forest for the trees,
Your acknowledgement will be what frees,
you from this chosen life of pain,
for what purpose does it remain?
If for only pain and sacrifice;
then you must listen to everyone's advice.
Open up your eyes and walk into that forest
cut down a tree and know the purest
intentions of freedom reign over commitment
now walk through the thicket!
It will be a walk of amazing grace,
one that you will surely place,
as a pivotal time in your life,
the moment you let go of your strife!
Acknowledge all that was good
and let it go; as you should!
Knowing full well that you can do it,
come on now walk a bit.
Each step you take is an added moment
from the life of sadness and torment.
A true test of character comes through,
Now you know what to do!
