Teardrops of Passion's Pain

As teardrops fall,
releasing feelings of passion's pain.
The feeling of yearning
to have love in my life:
Just the sight of your smile,
The fragrance of your cologne,
The touch of your hand on my cheek,
makes my heart race with anticipation.
I knew you were here only for the moment
then you would be gone once again,
Can I trust my heart to you
knowing you will leave me one more time?
What is this love that won't die,
Is it a deep soul connection,
A physical union of two kindred souls?
or just deeply rooted lust.
There is a fine line between love and lust,
Your mind knows the truth,
but your body and soul can live in denial,
driving those teardrops of passion's pain.
As you touch my shoulder
your hands tremble and your eyes tear
You tell me that you are dying,
and you have no fear any longer.
You confess that you always loved me,
and I was the only one that had your heart,
and you were sorry for hurting me,
and now you cry tears of passion's pain.
Author's Notes: I awoke from a dream that seemed so real, this is what came from my dream.
