If you can't be there for me......

If you can't be there for me, then don't!
I was there for you, but, you just
kept pushing my help away!
What's wrong with a little help?!?
Why can't you accept that people
do care, and that they do want
to help another person?
If you can't grow up, and stop being
so ruthless and cold towards me
and others, than someday, it'll
come back and getcha, and it'll
really hurt!
Do you remember how I used to
try to reach out to you? I used to
try to give you a hug, but, all you
could do was to turn away, and
act like I was small, and stupid!!!
WHen you can't show respect
for another, even a friend, then
there is a serious problem.
You could NOT be there for
me....maybe you think that
you were, but, you weren't!
You used to hurt my feelings so
much....I tried to tell you, but, you
never would listen....stubborn,
stubborn , you!!!!
Ya know, the next time, that you
need some help, and you turn
to a "good friend", they just might
not to "be there" for you.....they
might run from you, because you
don't KNOW what a good friend is
REALLY all about!
When you have a solid friend, there
is trust, and honesty, and respect,
and a lot more.....
we didn't have that anymore....
isn't that pretty obvious?
If you can't be there for me, well, then,
don't, bother...because, I really need
a friend that gives a damn...and will
stay put and not laugh at my thoughts,
or put me down in front of others. I need
a friend that is there with me, when life
hands me a box of crap, and I just have no
pizzazz left in my soul to give.
If you can't be there for me, start over,
and try to learn HOW to...instead of
lying and making up stupid lame
excuses....cuz' I KNOW that you KNOW
better!
