Meet me in the MoonLight....

Meet me in the moonlight,
where you can see the forest end
where the skies are a vivid purple,
and I shall see you clear, my friend...
Meet me in the moonlight,
teach me a song to sing,
we can sit on that log there,
or sit on the old porch swing...
Meet me in the moonlight,
as the mists do rise,
take a hold of my hand,
as we croon to our cloudless
sky.....
Meet me in the moonlight,
to watch the shooting stars
and see the spirits walk the earth,
so many have come so far....
Meet me in the moonlight,
where I hold you in my arms,
I hug you tight, with all my might,
and keep you safe and warm...
Meet me in the moonlight,
now tis' time to sleep,
so cuddle closer to me,
our dreams, together, keep.
