Just When You Thought.....

Just when you thought that nobody
loved you, just when you thought all was
lost.....you were wrong, you were wrong!
Just when you thought, that you had
been abandoned, left to take care of
yourself...you were wrong, you
were wrong!
Just when you thought, "ain't nobody,
ever went thru the pain that I have!"
You were wrong, you were wrong!
You aren't alone, just cuz' your
mother didn't love or want you....
You aren't by yourself, cuz' your
father only wanted a son......
You have a choice, to either
get up and deal with it, or
fall back down, and start to
drown.......
Just when you thought that the
world had left you, and you
didn't amount to much....
You were wrong, you were wrong!
Just when you thought that
every day is gonna be a "bummer",
because that's what life handed you...
Hey, you were wrong, you were wrong..!
You are NOT alone, there are others
just like you, , , , but, you gotta decide
yeah, you gotta choose....
if you make it in this world, if you
do what you have to do...
or if you sink to the bottom,
cuz' "you'll never learn to swim"

This poem I wrote for and about a person that is on one of the sites that I go on...for diabetics....she wrote a letter to everybody stating that her mom never wanted her..and that her family was in denial about her diabetes..and how her mom, most likely wished that she hadn't been born! How SAD IS THIS?!!!
I wrote and told her, thanks for sharing her letter, and that I am sorry that she had to go thru that horrible stuff with her mom and family.I would be glad to be a friend.... (I think that it's sooo much better to have some friends that honestly support you, rather than when they put you down, and make you feel low!!!)
I was thinking of her, and many others like her...so this is for them....and you aren't alone, Oh, NO, you are NOT!!!
and people DO care about you.....
