Haunted Okinawa...

by Ladykelshan
 Age Group: Adult

Never been to this place. but, I 've heard it's haunted, by ghosts from the war, that show up on roads and much more...
People will be driving up some steep old dirt road, but, cannot turn back, there is no other way , so you must stay on track!
The roads they are thin, and no place to share sides, so if you see a car, you may have to spend the night...
out in the cold, out in the night, where the spirits of long ago, haunt those old sites..... You may be sittin' and wishin', that you were at home! while the ghosties r having a fit while going out on their "roams".
Haunted Okinawa, the spirits have ne'er gone home, , , , they rested on the roadsides, they wait for some unknown's....
to drive up to the look outs, and peer over the edge... they wait for lonely passengers, and here is where they dredge......
They see the cars that drive up to sightsee of course, they're driving on the dirt road no clues, of any sort...
until all of a sudden, smack in the high beam lights, a spirit of a soldier walks cross in the dark of night....
the driver swerves to miss him, he swears 'that man was rea!l", but, the other passengers, they never saw him, but then, they start to "feel".......
......a curious sort of tingling, like some thing is hangin; 'round, the air is filled with maybe's , what happened? and "are we on solid ground?"
The air gets misty cold and fog rolls in with dew, ....the passengers sit like ice, they don't know what to do....
"let's turn around, and face it, we have to go back soon" ", I 'd rather not reface it, then sleep here till next noon!" The driver, tries to back the car up the bumpy hill, but, they are really stuck this time, oh Jeezus, what a thrill!
So, this night, they spend together, a night that seems "forever".. the misty mists, the spirit jists, and a road, to tight to weather!
But, again without prevail, the spirits come unveiled, they take the stage and show their age, as they walk across the levels....
Haunted Okinawa, I have NEVER yet been there, but I have heard the tales, of what prevails, am glad I'm here, I swear!
