Magick In The Cauldron

Magick In The Cauldron.

Age Group: Adult
Magick in the Cauldron,
stir and bubble,
talk about your troubles,
spit them out on the double!
Add a little fizz, a little bit of
kick, a pinch of smooth, and
a slide of slick!
Witches magick simmers in
the pot, all night long,
witches hover over , and they
sing their magick songs.
They circle round their pot,
with a serious gaze, while
watching the steam rise n'
a purple haze.
The Cauldron cooks, on
with glee, the witches cackle,
harmoniously.
Magick in the Cauldron,
heat is turned up high,
soon it will be done on
Halloween night!

Love the images..one of my favorite kids movies, is Hocus Pocus! I love "Book" and I love the fact that one of the witches has to ride a vacuum cleaner! I guess she really cleans up!
I am also a big fan of Alice Hoffmans books, and her book "Practical Magic".I haven't read that one , yet, but will, .. (I have only seen the movie, but, I am a big fan!) Her other books are also partly about clairvoyancy and things semi-related!
Also liked the movie "The Craft" but I do realize that this is only "Hollywood" there are only a few things in there that could definitely be used for candle magick or other types of magick in those movies....so some is slightly real...and some not.
When I write some of the witchier poems, I am not trying to ever make fun of the Wiccan lifestyle...I really enjoy Wicca, and I just love to put my imagination to work...because I love all of the ideas that are connected to Wicca/Paganism...so I hope that you enjoy the poems, and just have fun in reading them!
another book author that I would like to mention is Isobel Bird...she writes about the Circle of Three, and her teen series books are all Wiccan stories...I think that she is a really great writer...and that is what inspired me to want to keep learning more about Wicca!! Check out her teen books some time!
