As I Think Of You Tonight….To our U.S. Soldiers!!!

As I think of you tonight......
I hope that you all, are
Okay, just right…
I hope that dreams may
Carry you, to a place,
That so very few,
May come and go,
And feel so good,
A place that no harm
Can come, or should
Not hurt you in the slight-
est ways, a space and time
Of “other days”….
As I think of you tonight.....
I hope that you’re just fine,
The noble things you’ve
Done, ….. sublime,
I hope that you can still
Crack a smile, can
Mellow out, and laugh
A while…and be the
One you’ve always been,
The caring human,
The strength of ten…
The human soul that
Carried thru, all of
The things that you
Had to do, …..
As I think of you tonight....
I wonder what is next in
Flight, for all the regions
Here to there, for all of
The work, done everywhere..
I see you in my own mind’s
Eye, and think and dream,
And wonder why? But, I
Know that there’s a reason,
Why you all have left each
Season…to help, to fix,
To begin the new, to
Change the ways, of
Old, towards truth…
As I think of you tonight......
I know that you are guarding still,
In the cold and dead of night,
You stand and watch, the
Darkest sites, the wind may howl,
The dust may rise, but,
You’ll be standing up till
The new sunrise…….
And though you are so far
From home, just remember,
You’re not alone!…

Just when you think that you" can't ", or that you haven't gotten a letter, or something to" pick you up", make you feel better....just recall that every cloud does have a silver lining...and you are next in line!!!!!
Hurrah for all of our U.S. Men and Women out there...I support you, You all are very courageous, and a blessing, as well as an inspiration, to so many people!!...Wishing you much happiness, and joy, wherever you may be!
