Little Ladies

Age Group: Adult
They sit up high
watching me, with little girl eyes,
They shyly smile, I can see them laugh,
there's a twinkle in their eyes, for a
moment n' a half.
They longingly look at me,
wish I would cuddle them,
kiss them, hug them, start over
again, and then!!!.....
Two little ladies, pretty as can be,
each in a little dress, as delicate
as you see.
One is the 'Bossy' one, she tells
'the other' what to do, the 'other'
likes to "rant and rave" till she's
nearly blue!
Two little girls, two sisters, twins,
I should state,
they've been with me , since I was
little, I guess it must be fate.
I've loved them, played with them,
taken them everywhere,
for I cannot let them go,
I love them so, I swear!
Two little "Princesses" ,
sitting together, sweet-
one's name is Suzanney,
and the other's name
suzy!
I love them dearly,
they make my heart a
flutter,
when I'm close to them,
my feelings melt like
butter!
Since childhood I've loved
them,
I really love them so,
and I'll never hesitiate
to take them wher'er I
go!

These are about two little "babies" or dolls that I have had since I was very young...and you know what else?
Every doll that I have ever had with the exception of several including one that was named "Dumbell"...please don't ask me why...she was just named that! I still really liked her alot!
But, all of my regular dolls that I slept with or took with me everywhere....even across the country with my mom ....they were all named "Suzy"!!!!
Suzanne or Suzannie, as I like to refer to her, was "adopted" when I was five years old....I had lost another Suzie", I was throwing her up in the air at a house that my mom, and I were renting at that time..and well, she Never came back down again! I was devastated! My mom and I looked everywhere for her...and we Never ever found her! I was almost inconsolable! I am a pretty emotional person...and was then! I did eventually get over the loss, but, when I received Suzanne, I had no idea what to name her....so the funny thing about me, I just decided to call her Suzanne...because she "looked" like one to me! I also madeher face chubbier than the other "Suzy" had..., and from there on in, I had twins!
Some people that have "met " them think that they are very cute. My family will joke about them as well....so have you taken Suzy and Suzanne to your new home? Did "they" go with you?
(But, of course! what did ya think?) They are very special to me....and I also tell stories about them to children..and also loads of other stories that kids can relate to!
p.s. On a trip in the car, when I was maybe about two or three years old, I was sitting in the back (car seat) and my mom was driving..she would say to me"J, J, look at that! (and of course I would miss it! because I was always doing my Own Thing!) and minutes later...she would hear me say "Suzie, Suzie, look, look!, Awwww, ya missed it! she would have to stifle her laughter....I guess kids are just pretty darn cute n' clever! teehee!
