A Forgiveness Poem..

You Didn’t Do Anything Wrong…
A Letting GO, And Forgivness Poem..…
You didn’t do, anything “wrong”
You had a fight, a “discussion”
With “mom”
You were right, so stand
Really tall, let her shrink, let
Her feel “small.”
Sometimes, yet, even now,
You want to take words back,
But, hon’ you were stayin’
On the right track.
Just because she isn’t here
And she’s left this place,
Don’t mean, if alive, she
Wouldn’t be in your face!
She’s who she’s always
Always been even to you,
Always making “Drama”
You didn’t need a clue!
She may have gotten the
Words in, just to make
You mad…just wanna let
You know, don’t let
That hurt you bad…..
You had to say, what you
Felt was “right”
She had to provoke,
Because that was in her mind!
Just do not worry, that your
Last words were with rage, , ,
Your mom still loved you,
She loved you anyways!
So, Marie, just keep
On being that lovely lady,
That you have always been,
And think happy thoughts,
For your mother in the end…

This Poem is for Marie...who is my hubby's eldest .
She had an argument with her mom, and then a few hours later...her mom passed away....some things happen like this..and there isn't an answers and or anything that you can do...except maybe NOT argue.., or not be the person that you are, ..but people are who they are...whether they live thru the arguing or not...and I don't see this as Marie's fault....so, if there are others out there , that have felt terrible over this...try not to.feel a lot of horrific guilt , those people, if they were STILL around would STILL be arguing, and or spiteful! These people's passing, had nothing to do with you... (most likely!) This is just life!
For Marie...just wanted to add, that your mom loved you, but, she also wanted to play games too...you are too smart, Girlfriend! You know this!!!You stood your ground..and you did what was right at that time...so don't feel terrible..it wasn't your problem, or all of your fault, not one bit!!!!
