This is Reality…

Age Group: Adult
I will have to be a rock…
And no longer feel,
What I do..
For others that I think of…
I will have to be like nothing
Floating nowhere..
Touching nobody,
Not a thing….
I will have to notice
Invisibility, see thru
People, and ideas, and
Thoughts…I will have to
Think blankly..and
Wonder at the images
That I thought I saw….
Once upon a time..
Long time ago…
I will have to feel raw,
Face my fears, my sorrows,
My blank drawing pages…
There were people
On them, …but, they’ve
Disappeared…into the
Greyness of life….
And they aren’t coming back…
I will have to stop my torment,
And just accept what’s so hard
For me….at this time, and space
In the corner of my life…now.
This is reality…
