Let's Celebrate You!

Don't cry, don't get blue,
let's celebrate your life, let's celebrate
you!
Oh, you! Always the vibrant one,
shining brighter than any sun!
I'm not sayin' goodbye, nor
farewell at all,
Stayin' strong, standin' sturdy,
I won't fall.
I'm not gonna cry,
not gonna get blue,
Gonna celebrate your life,
gonna celebrate you!
You were so happy,
a giver a sharer,
I'm gonna remember you as a
human and a care'er!

This is for a neighbor whom I grew up across the street from...I had just heard that she passed away on June 28th. She had ovarian cancer. I kept hoping that she would have a chance to live I really wanted her to make it..but, I guess that ovarian cancer is such a deadly disease! It gets pretty much everybody! That sucks!
Anyhow, I wrote some stuff..and this is one of them...I guess I don't want to cry too much...I did, but, I would rather celebrate her...because she really was a "light"!
She really had a great smile...and everytime that I saw her..she smiled widely!
This poem is dedicated in her memory!

and to all of you that have a person that is dealing with this awful illness....Goddess and or God bless all of you! I know that this is sooooo NOT easy! I hope that life gets better! Peace!

P.P.S. Also , Women, do something for you as well...for your birthday or whatever ..treat yourself to a papsmear, and or a mammagram! This is VERY IMPORTANT!!! Get checked out before the cancer gets you!!!!
and last but not least, donate or walk for cancer...it is the very least that you can do to help save lives!
