Dear Pat...

Dear Pat...
I just found out today
that you passed away, ..
I want you to know
that I think of you often..
as we would sit and eat and
talk together..you made me
smile and feel great..
Though, I hadn't really "known" you
all that long..I really felt that you were
a wonderful strong kindred spirit.
I hope that you are nearby, and if I go
to visit you, that you will know that I
have come to see you.
I heard that "E" my neighbor and yours
went to live in a "home"..maybe she will
drive others "crazy" as you and I used to say!
I would have written a better poem than this
just for you..but, I want for you to know, that
I only just found out that you have left earth.
I hope that whereever you are..that you are
doing much better...as I know that you were
in pain the last time that I saw you.
Remember the photos of your grandchildren..and
all of the little ones that used to visit you...
you are NOT alone..you are remembered..and
you are still my friend, and soulful spirit!
I think of you because
you are a very special to me!! STILL!

I just today, found out that a friend of mine had passed away..was gone for nearly a year or more....but, I hadn't known this!
She was a neighbor who made me laugh..and was a strong willed person..but, with a lot of love and kindness in her heart!!
I will miss her..she became a wonderful friend!!
Also, I would like to add, that another friend (more like pen pal online of mine) also passed on..and she will NOT be forgotten either!!
