Upon Night’s maw a smile lies,
a tale of darkness and mystery.
Her secret jewels upon the sky
the Earth’s entire history.
In opal eyes, a terrible pain,
a sight to chill the weakling bones
for she knows that man’s her bane
and hides within her shadowed tones.
