When You Meet a Vet..

When you meet a Vet...
Tell them that you are so proud of them
tell them that you care!
tell them thanks, for what they've done
they had guts, they dared!!
When you see a Vet...
Ask them questions, 'bout their lives
how they dealt with certain times..
what the pressure was like for them
and what helped to soothe their minds...
When you talk to a Vet...
share with them what you believe
and see if they might too..
be thoughtful and bend an ear
to hear their tales true!
When you find a Vet...
Ask what you can of them and
and listen to what they teach..
They may give you so much more
it's really quite a treat!!
When you meet a Vet...
Don't go and shy away...
they aren't the enemies..
they do know so many things
that they will share with ease!
When you meet a Vet.....
The ones, from wayyyy back when
they are the ones that helped us out
and helped us ALL to WIN!
