Not Till Eternity...

I thought that YOU were the one,
the one that with whom I'd be
Well, I was so, so very wrong..
No, not till eternity!
You never even loved me,
like I loved you, and I know,
that's so true...
I loved you, way too much,
glad that we are thru...
I wanted you from the start..
you tugged at my lonely heart
But, you had another side,
somethings you could not hide!
You had anger and some rife,
you coveted hate within your life..
That is not how I want to be
so I let you go, I set you free!
Thankful now to rest my soul
my heart is heavy but I've
gotta go...
Let me fly away from you...
and be to me, so very true!

This was written about a person whom I had loved a long time back...and I really believed in my mind (once upon a time) that I was destined to be with this person..but, I don't think so! We all live and we all learn, that's for sure!!!
Thank God, I learned but, it took me a long time to see the truth!!
