You've Left...

You've left, no not left the path,
ya know?, moved on, and it's not "chance!"..
I checked to see, if you were still here..
but, I guess you're gone, yep, that is clear!
Since we've spoken, you've moved far..
Can't let others know where you are..
Always travelin' from here to Z..
that's your life in the Army..
Well, it was okay to finally connect..
say what I said, and leave the rest..
Things are better left in our past..
I have moved on, finally at last!!
Well, I do wish you well,
just so you know..
you won't be forgotten,
but you've been "let go!"
I just really wondered,
if you were here on this site..
just merely lookin', is all,
well, okay then,
alright!

This was about a person I used to really like./and was dating . I thought that I would write a poem about this person for the heck of it! I think that I really did do the best thing for me..which was to actually get a hold of this person, find out who this person was again...after so many years..and well, I finally saw that I was right and wrong at the same time! Sometimes facing the reality of the whole issue is what you MUST do, to face things in yourself..and that is exactly what I did..and it sure cleared up a LOT of huge issues for me!! Glad I did this.. (some years back) and Glad I am no longer "confused" about this person either!! It sure did take a huge dose of REALITY to bite me to get me to "get it!" Reality does bite!! Trust me on this one!!
