Peace, My Friend....

To :a brave man...
who walked on a wild running road..with many paths surrounding him,
with many choices...hurling themselves before him..
with many voices calling out to him...
in the dark, of a bleakly painted blurry life...
outstretched heading to paths unknown...
He was heading to get there...to reconnect..
someday, somehow..somewhere...
In the midst, there was a light...
it reached further out to him...
he grabbed at it..and snatched it..
until he had it wrapped around his fingers...
He was home...He was safe...
There would be no more darkness
Only light....
He will not walk alone..
He will walk with friends who made it too.
He will be loved, treasured, cherished, and missed sorely
by the rest, left behind....
This is for T.O. who passed away...
We love you as you are...
We like you...just the same...
You are always a PART of US.

I just found out that a classmate died..
I wanted to write a special poem for this person...I think that I
knew him briefly...I hope that his family and friends are doing okay!!
T.O....I wish you well...wherever you may be now......
