Your Artwork is so
deep, and yet,
inquisitive, sensitive and
it asks questions,
but, pulls me in.
I always want to know
MORE..of what you show me..
I don't know you, yet
I do..the humaness
of the pieces that
grab me, that push me
towards realization of
who you have been,
who you are becoming,
and what will be, or might..
I see the artist as
not just the creative one, but,
the storyteller who
defies "the usual",
and stands on her own
feet, and feels and draws from
her life what she can.
You are remarkable, yet
still always inquisitive,
and so very humanistic.
This is what enthralls us all
to look at your work,
and wonder about YOU!

This is about Louise Bourgeois whose art I went to see at the Hirshorn museum...it's quite interesting art..at first I think that I was not all that interested..partly because of what I over heard .Somebody was saying that "the last thing, this man had heard, was that she had decided to go for it, and do her art." (Or something close to that) The man was supposedly a man that she had gone to art school with or there abouts, and I just had this image that maybe she did not really give a darn about working on her art..that it was all for an image..so, I was not easily impressed.
But, the more that I looked at what she had done..the more I questioned myself and her work..it's different..and it makes you think about what she does.
Her art does push you and prod you to want to learn MORE about who she is as not just an artist..but, as a human being...She's interesting...and if you ever get a chance to see her work..go and visit!!! Also, you can youtube her as well! It's also interesting to hear her talk about her pieces too!
[Her most famous piece is the Spider...but, her other pieces are :Cumul, Quarantania, Arch of Hysteria, The Blind leading the Blind, Cell, (You Better Grow Up) , Crouching Spider, Cell (Choisy) Red Room (Child) , Spiral Woman, among many more!].
