Better For It...

I am better for it..
by NOT thinkin' bout you
letting go of the ties that bind
not wanting for you
in my mind..
I used to hope and pray
you would come back
to me , someday....but,
now I don't need "US "
anymore...
still care, but,
yearning's a chore
It's too late to
look back now
Gotta move on
and LIVE somehow!!
Just want you to know
what I feel..
no bullsh*t,
it's honestly "real!"
Hope you're good
wherever you are...
It's not the end..
you can still be
my friend!

I write this poem, about a person I loved...but, I realized that he is
Not worth worrying over and or about.. (I really think too hard about people., and it makes me crazy inside! ) Just NOT a great situation..and so..I am heading back into my REAL life..and NOT the one that was "fantasy!" that gets OLD quick!!!
