A POEM for Me...

Age Group: Adult
I go looking for you...
but, I end up harming my soul...
You still play those age old games
with me...never stopping..
you think it's so funny..
it must make you laugh
but, to me, you are evil!
I am aching so much..I decide to
say adios! I cannot hold on
in these instances, any longer..
it just hurts me to the bone..
straight on thru.
I think you know this...
and you don't care.
I try to look on the brighter
side and NOT be upset.
I try to "forget" you..and
all that you are...In my mind
you were a "someone!"
with whom I could care so
deeply for...but, this was
what was NEVER meant
to be...and I still
HOLD on, too
TIGHTLY!!!
So, I cast you OUT..indefinitely..
even when my soul cries..and
I wish to the universe that YOU
were mine..or I could keep you..
as a gift for myself...
knowing that you might come
back into my life... yet .again!

This is a poem about a certain person..with whom I "thought" and believed that maybe, IF I played my cards right..I might be able to "befriend" again...but, alas..I do NOT think that this was meant to be, ..and man!! IT HURTS!!!!
I think that I jumped in to the water..without checking everything ..Oooops! MY total BAAAAAD here!!!
